In the third quarter of 2024, the top social networking apps in Qatar on the iOS platform exhibited varying performance trends, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Threads saw a moderate increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 3.9K at the beginning of July and peaking at 5.8K by mid-July. The app maintained an active user base, with numbers rising from approximately 21.9K to 27.4K by the end of September.

Telegram Messenger experienced a steady increase in weekly revenue, culminating in approximately $5.4K at the end of September. Downloads fluctuated, beginning at 3.9K and decreasing to 2.4K by the end of the quarter. Active users remained stable, averaging around 126K throughout the quarter.

WhatsApp Messenger maintained consistent active user engagement, with numbers hovering around 400K. Weekly downloads varied, starting at 4.5K and showing a dip mid-quarter before recovering to 3.2K by the end of September.

Google Meet showed a decline in weekly downloads, from 2.9K at the beginning of July to 1.9K by the end of September. Active users fluctuated slightly, maintaining an average of approximately 24K throughout the quarter.

Facebook reported a stable weekly revenue trend, peaking at about $1.8K in mid-September. Downloads remained relatively constant, starting at 2.6K and ending at 2.2K. Active users showed minor fluctuations, averaging around 350K during the quarter.
